Concept Paper of PVPS@PVSEC-19,
A half day IEA PVPS workshop at PVSEC-19, Jeju, November 2009

  1. Introduction
IEA PVPS Task 1 has been hosting workshops in conjunction with PVSEC, Photovoltaic Science Conference in Asia and Pacific region. The workshops provided opportunities to exchange information between IEA PVPS, its member and non-member countries. In September 2005, Task 1 and PVPS-15 committee jointly hosted a workshop titled PVPS@PVSEC-15 in Shanghai focusing on PVPS activities, status of PV power system application in China and other Asian countries. In December 2007, IEA PVPS Task 1 jointly organized special sessions titled PVPS@PVSEC-17 with PVSEC-17 committee and NEDO aiming at raising awareness of PVPS activities and trends of PV status in Asia-Pacific countries. At the occasion of PVSEC-18, held in Kolkata, January 2009, Task 1 organized a PVPS workshop focusing on PVPS activities.
At the 32 Task Expert Meeting, Task 1 experts discussed contents of PVPS@PVSEC-19 and decided to plan a workshop focusing on information exchange of national status of PV power generation following the suggestion from Dr. Kyung-Hoon Yoon. This document presents the draft plan of the proposed workshop.
